Sabrina - Gewinnerin 2011 - Interview

FASHION & MUSIC: You won the Model Contest at FASHION & MUSIC 2011 – what has happened since then?

I've travelled and experienced a great deal since FASHION & MUSIC. I've made a lot of contacts and learned lots. All the jobs have helped me to develop. For example, I've had loads of shoots in Hamburg, Berlin, Düsseldorf and Munich and so on. I also had a job at the Goldwell Colorzoom Awards in Miami and filmed an advertisement for Mango in Berlin. I've also done several shoots with Loni Baur. Most recently, I was at the TOP HAIR Days in Düsseldorf. (9-11.03.12)

FASHION & MUSIC: Tell us about your plans for the near future!

My aims? Obviously, an international career. There's still a lot of work to do. I'd like to work all around the world over the coming weeks and months to build up my career. I'm hoping for some exciting major jobs, more experience and fun, of course. I'm really excited about the future and I'm proud of what I have already achieved. Winning at FASHION AND MUSIC 2011 was a good start.

FASHION & MUSIC: What were the highlights at FASHION&MUSIC for you personally?

First of all, winning the contract with PARS MANAGEMENT, of course. It was two fantastic days with many exciting high points. Just meeting the jury was a thrilling moment in itself. And then of course the professional coaching and being given valuable tips. As well as the challenges of appearing on the catwalk, the live performances by so many famous singers, like Milow, were a personal highlight for me. It was a fantastic programme, I had a lot of fun, both behind and on the stage. I was also really excited by the Design School fashion show. Music and fashion just belong together and it was fantastic to experience FASHION & MUSIC and be part of it.

FASHION & MUSIC: What tips do you have for future contestants?

Be yourselves. That's the most important thing. Focus on being natural and strong. You must believe in yourself, be brave and fight your corner. And you also need to be able to walk in high heels, because they are a model's most important accessory. You need to be able to walk, for hours, elegantly or sexily – whatever is required at the time. Slip them on at home, walk up and down, anywhere you happen to go. Even if it gives you blisters, that's the best training. And pose in front of the mirror to learn the perfect way to look into the camera.
